Margam Park is a very popular country park on the outskirts of Port Talbot. The huge park contains many attractions, including an orangery, Gothic style castle, miniature railway, play parks and countless walks and cycle paths. It makes a superb family day out.
The cache is located along one of these paths. Car parking is available in the park (charge applies).
The cache is a small plastic container and contains a log and pencil. It is located in one of the wooden mushroom sculptures along the zig zag path. It is located at head height so geo-kids might need a little help in retrieving it although it should be within reach of most other people.
