Yvetot étant peu pourvue en géocaches, je vous propose une première cache à proximité de la gare, qui peut aisément servir d'hôtel pour les TB ou Geocoins se rendant vers le Havre ou vers Paris. Si l'endroit est plutôt frénétique notamment les matins et fins d'après midi quand les trains transportent les usagers cauchois vers Rouen, le Havre ou Paris St Lazare aux heures de départ et d'arrivée des trains, le parking, ou "espace multimodal" ne manque cependant pas de charme (pour un tel lieu). Il est l'oeuvre du talentueux architecte paysagiste local, Samuel Craquelin, celui-là même qui a réaménagé notamment les Jardins Suspendus du Havre ou la promenade des falaises à Etretat. On remarquera notemment la longue allée bordée d'aulnes et d'un fossé inondable qui préserve le caractère marécageux de cet endroit plutôt ... humide.

If the place is rather frantic in ealy mornings and late afternoons as trains take travellers to Rouen, le Havre or Paris-St Lazare, the car park or "multimodal space" is still interesting for such a place. It is a creation of the talentful local landscape architect Samuel Craquelin, who has also created the Suspended Gardens ("Jardins Suspendus") in Le Havre and the walking path along the cliffs in Etretat. One will notice the long alley bordered with alders and floodable ditches, that reminds the swampy environment of this rather wet place.
