Tämän multin suorittaminen on helppoa.
XXX= Ö - 5
YYY= Ö X 33.
This is a very easy multicache. All you need to do is count the posts of the fence that rounds the spring. Let that be Ö.
You will find the cache in these coordinates
N 61° 32.XXX E 023°42.YYY
XXX= Ö -5
YYY= Ö X 33.
Lähde on paikka, jossa pohjavesi virtaa maan pinnalle.
Eniten lähteitä on juuri suurten korkeuserojen alueilla eli paikoissa, joissa on ns. ruhjelaaksoja. Joistakin lähteistä on tehty kaivoja, jolloin niiden luonnontilaisuus on samalla mahdollisesti hävinnyt.
Pohjaveden virtaus pitää lähteen välittömän lähiympäristön pienilmaston suhteellisen vakaana ympäri vuoden: kesällä lähde ympäristöineen on ympäröivää metsää viileämpi ja kosteampi, talvella lämpimämpi (pysyy sulana).
Here is some additional information about springs and this spring area in general.
Spring is a place where ground water flows to the surface. Natural springs are formed by rain water seeks the bedrocks crack, ridgeor any other part of the porous soil and the water table intersects the ground plane. Springs discharged not only to the surface but to the bottom of lakes and ponds aswell.
Finland's basic maps has a total of 22 085 springs, but they are in fact much more. Most springs is just the high altitude areas, or places where there is a so-called crackvalleys. Springs vegetation and ecology of the geology in addition to those that characterize the facts. Underground the springs flowing water dissolves minerals from rocks, so the springs water is considered healthy. Particularly mineral-rich spring water is bottled natural mineral water. Some springs have been wells, so that their natural state is at the same time may be lost.
Groundwater flow keeps springs surroundings relatively stable all year round: in summer, spring and its surroundings are cooler and wetter, warmer in the winter (does not freeze). As a result, you can found that spring creates good environment to water animals and organism and flora, who do not succeed in other types of environments. Lentävänniemi spring and its surroundings remains ice-free throughout the year. There is a boat harbor nearby and there is a wetter area right next to it where the water is clean and there thrives forexcample frogs and newt (Lissotriton vulgaris). Best time to see frogs and newts is spring when they spawn.
