Hippie would have been 55 today, but he passed away in 1996 from Crohn's Disease. He was a free spirit, to say the least. He would have loved geocaching as he loved traveling and trying new things. He was definitely into adventure! Jeff, or Hippie as he was called, was Radioman's older brother and ikolor's college roommate at the University of Florida. That's how radioman and ikolor met.
Hippie was an avid follower of the Grateful Dead. He made a living selling baby doll dresses, body oils, incense, illegal stuff, and painting naked women! He was quite a character. He earned the name Hippie partially based on his looks, long long hair - down to his arse, beard and mustache, black piercing eyes, peace sign earring, tie dyed shirts, shredded jeans. But most of all he lived the lifestyle of a hippie. We miss him a lot and often think how different life would be if he was still here. Now he watches over us from above.
