Geocache Description:

Heading north towards Beatrice, NE, for a geocaching/bicycling adventure weekend of my own over this Columbus Day Weekend. Been wanting to place a cache at this spot for a loooonnngggg time, finally decided to stop and place a very early morning cache.

Well, after watching that movie, "Avatar", for about the billionth time on cable TV, one part of the movie kept getting my attention. That part was when the humans arrive on Pandora and they receive their "motivation" speech from their leader about not being in Kansas anymore, they were on Pandora, or words to that affect.

Anyway, always wanted to place a cache somewhere close to the Kansas border, and this spot got "volunteered". Nice view of the northern Flint Hills region.

Nice little well-kept prairie cemetery. To get to this spot, travel north/south on US Hwy 77 south of the town of Oketo, KS, until it intersects with Frontier Road. Turn west onto Frontier Road until it intersects with 7th Road. Turn north onto 7th Road and turn west when it intersects with Elk Road. Travel west on Elk Road until it intersects with 6th Road. Turn south on 6th Road and travel south until 6th Road intersects with Frontier Road (approximate 1 mile). Cemetery will be on southeast corner of this intersection. Cemetery will be on east side of road.

Cache will be a something INSIDE something. Should be a relatively quick find - maybe!!!

Remember that this is a cemetery and please observe any/all rules/regulations that may be present and that we have all read on other page write-ups concerning these types of locations.
