Come and get your Geocaching in Space Souvenir!

Geocaching is rocketing into space once again. Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver a Travel Bug ® to the International Space Station. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7

With this event happening on a weeknight, not to mention a school night, I figured a FLASH MOB was the way to go. We will meet at the pavilion at 7pm taking a group photo around 7:10PM.

I hope this will be the first of many events put on by the WSCA.

UPDATE: It has been pointed out that I had my time calculation incorrect for the launch (this happens to me from Time to Time). The scheduled time is now 9:14PM MST (spaceflightnow.com). That will be 2 hours latter than this event. This should give everyone an opportunity to attend and still make it home with plenty of time to watch the launch. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused and thanks to DAVEHI1 for pointing it out. See ya at the event!
