This cache is at the site of an old service station "Manton Motors", which was removed many years ago, at a geuss about 40 years ago (i cant find any infomation about it but when i do i will update), the concrete slab is still there with an old concrete tank, this was the first servo coming from Sydney way in the Yass area, there was another one on the left side about Two klms towards Yass, "Greassy Bill's" or just "Bills" as it was known, was the first true truck stop with parking for prime movers, fuel and a feed, then a camp for a while and back on the road, it was removed not long after the Yass by-pass.
Manton Motors was the first of about 19 (counting my fingers) petrol outlets at Yass.
