Geocache Description:

An event to celebrate Geocaching's second space adventure.
Wednesday 6 November, 6pm at Apex Park Lake Albert.

Geocaching is rocketing into space once again. Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver a Travel Bug® to the International Space Station. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7.





Groundspeak will be awarding a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir to every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013.

Come along and join in the celebration at Apex Park Lake Albert from 6 pm.

A delicious meal of Canadian Style Hotdogs, prepared by rhondle, will be served.

All you will have to bring is yourself, a picnic chair if possible and drinks.

If you are attending please log a will attend by Monday November 4 for catering purposes.
