A regular cache located just off Ghost Valley Road / TransAlta Road. There is an unactivated TB for the first to find and one of our new pathtags for the first collector.
Should be an easy find; however, spoiler images have been provided if you choose to use them.
We came upon this area while out touring with Dragonfly E&N on the Thanksgiving long weekend. This area is part of the Ghost Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ) which is more than 1,500 km2 (150,000 hectares) of public lands for all to enjoy!
Note: the roads out here are not maintained to regular public standards (which means the road is in terrible shape). A vehicle with high clearance is highly recommended.
Please be respectful of the area at all times. Check for current fire bans before heading out, be careful with open fires, and stick to designated trails. Sightings of bears, moose and other wild animals is common so be aware of your surroundings at all times and don't wander off alone. Brightly colored clothing is recommended if you plan on hiking in the area since hunters a common sight in the PLUZ.
