The 3rd cache in a lovely circular walk around Blackmuir Woods in Strathpeffer. The first part of the walk is on the newly laid Community Path from the carpark, along the backs of the houses at Jamestown.
The first part of the walk is on the newly laid community path from the carpark, along the backs of houses at Jamestown. The walk includes a wander up through the woods, over a couple of small wooden bridges and stepping stones (can be muddy in place after heavy rain). Then you come out into a more open section of woodland, finally meeting up with a forest road back to the carpark. See if you notice The Hat and The Scarf along the way!!
