Entering Mortlich Hill Territory Traditional Cache

This cache was placed on the descent of Mortlich hill, (after finding someone elses cache at the top!) as part of a circular route from Walk Highland. The hill has lovely views across Deeside if you do decide to go to the top and do the whole route; woodland and heather terrain, lots of ferns and the remains of a stone fort at the top.

This cache could be found on the way up to the top of Mortlich Hill following the other published cache's route, parking at their suggested place (Option 1 Waymarker), or it can be found on the descent of Mortlich Hill (which was when it was placed) if you follow the Walk Highland circular route which is what I did! I think I would have struggled finding the path through the fern-covered hillside if I went up this way!  

I would advise waterproofs if you are walking after the rain, I got sodden pushing through the high ferms and gorse bushes following all the paths!
