Geocache Description:

A get together at Cooinda Park to celebrate the expedition which will transport a travel bug all the way to the International Space Station.

The event will commence at 6pm and go until the mosquitoes drive us away.

A travelbug is hitching a ride with astronaut Rick Mastracchio straight to the International Space Station. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7.

Groundspeak is offering a virtual souvenir to all those who attend an event on November 6 or 7.  You can watch the launch live online or check out the recording later to celebrate the geocaching community’s spirit of exploration.

The park has a terrific playground, playing field and conveniences, BYO everything.  There are barbecues available but tables and seating are limited.

I would love to hear from anyone who has ideas for activities or can offer assistance so stay tuned for more detail of activities.

Please indicate the number of adults and primary school children who will be attending.
