Geocache Description:

Castle Eden Walkway now known as wynyard woodland park has always been one of my favorite places to visit in the area. The park has been created from the old disused railway line with the original station building still on site There is always plenty to do for all ages and for years I have come here for a peaceful run or cycle and particularly walking the dog.

Thorpe woods is a lovely little loop walk round the forest it can be quite steep in places but well worth the detour if you have the time for a nice walk about. The cache itself is a small clip lock container just big enough for small swaps/geocoins and contains a log and pencil. The location of this cache is just beside the main walkway a few yards opposite the entrance to Thorpe woods. Gps may be out due to trees.
