This cache is at the old bridge constructed in 1981 that runs over a canal. This canal runs from the Erfenis Dam which is an earth-fill type dam located on the Vet River 14 km east from here. It has a capacity of 207 500 000 m3 and spreads over 3282ha of surface area. It was established in 1960 and its primary purpose is for irrigation use.
The canal supplies water for irrigation to 5489 ha of farm land and at the tail end the excess water flows into the Vetriver.
