Well, they tore down and removed a tree my previous cache was in. I mean it is gone. For good. And I really like this area. So I had to replace it somewhere nearby.
So come on down to Mallard Cove. This may be my favorite park in these parts. It's largely undeveloped, with a walking trail and a few benches scattered about. There is talk of putting in a playground but I hope they don't. I bring my girls here and they ride their bikes around the trails. I bring my pit bull Baxter and let him run around. They even have an interesting picnic table that looks as if it has been here a long time.
The cache? Its a pleasant 1/3 mile from the parking lot. It's small-ish and pretty simple to find. Grab the other caches that are here while your at it. They are all good ones. Heck- place one of your own. There's room for some more!
