Geocache Description:

The 7th Annual GeoRoc Holiday Family Event this year is Sunday, December 1 at the North Greece Fire District Pavilion.  Plenty of parking and a nearby playground if the weather is nice enough.  The Pavilion has a refrigerator, stovetop, and oven available. It's a nice enclosed, heated building (see picture). Please no pets.

Thanks to J.A.M.E.S. we have gotten a great price for the pavilion!  So unlike last year we will NOT be requesting any fee.  The cost will be taken out of the raffle money, so please participate in the raffles!!

TIME: The event will run from noon until 4PM.

FOOD & DRINK: Please bring a dish to pass (appetizers, desserts, munchies, etc.) or beverages (no alcohol).  Post what you’re bringing and I’ll keep a running list below.

RAFFLES: Two raffles will be available….”pick-a-prize” style, where you get to enter your raffle tickets for prizes you hope to win, and a 50/50 raffle.  If you’d like to donate one or more items for the pick-a-prize raffle, let Potter Trekies know. Potter Trekies

EVENT HIDES: If anyone wants to place an event hide, let me know the coordinates and any description and they’ll get posted at the event.  Note that the nearby woods and farmland are private property and therefore are off limits!

EVENT ACTIVITIES:
"Ice Breaker": Pick up your game piece at the door.

"Trackables Swap": Bring in your trackables to trade and/or pick up ones to move.

"Send in the Replacements": This is for anyone who has set out a TB to travel and it got lost, never to be seen again. Have you sent out a replacement yet? Well why not....????? Potter Trekies will provide a replacement tag you can label with the Tracking Code of one of your lost TB’s (SO BRING THAT INFO WITH YOU!). You can attach anything you like to it and sent it out to travel again. No reason to sick and sulk about lost TB’s....make up a replacement and have another go at it.

KIDS ACTIVITIES: For the kids the 5c's will be running a Holiday Craft Center and a Create Your Own Kids TB station.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Select the Related Web Page link to view additional details and conversation about the event.

VOLUNTEERS: There are several opportunities to volunteer to help with this event.  Post a note in your log entry or email me if you’d like to help out by filling in one of the remaining TBD slots below.
