FR : La Ferme Neuve (datation 1723-1753) a été construite à l'initiative de Guillaume François Joly de Fleury, procureur général au Parlement et seigneur de Grigny. Caractéristique des grandes fermes de la région, de type beauceronnes, elle est aussi importante que celle du Bois Briard à Courcouronnes. Légèrement en retrait du village, elle formait autrefois, au milieu des champs, un véritable monde clos, semblable à une forteresse. Les bâtiments sont disposés autour d'une vaste cour carrée comportant des puits et un abreuvoir. En 1821, Guillaume François Joly de Fleury vend la propriété à la Duchesse de Raguse, épouse du Maréchal de France Auguste de Marmont. L'acte de vente révèle l'importance de la ferme. Un premier bâtiment abrite le logement du fermier, un fournil, une laiterie, « une superbe vacherie voûtée », un poulailler et un toit à porc. L'ensemble est surmonté de deux étages, accueillant les chambres des domestiques et les greniers. Un autre bâtiment renferme une vaste écurie voûtée, des granges à avoine, à paille et à blé, avec colombier, ainsi qu'une bergerie, dont le grenier est carrelé. La Comtesse de Rigny acquiert la ferme en 1856, puis elle la vend à la marquise de Talhouêt-Roy en 1881. En 1899, la société Bouton et Piketty rachète la ferme pour en exploiter la meulière. Dans les années 1920, un hangar destiné à entreposer le blé est construit. Les corps de bâtiments sont restés intacts. Après avoir épuisé le gisement, l'entreprise vend le domaine à la famille Marcognet en 1956. Rachetée par l'État, la propriété est gérée par l'Agence foncière et technique de la région parisienne (AFTRP). En cours de réhabilitation, elle est destinée à accueillir des services municipaux et à devenir le cœur de la ville de Grigny, reliant les quartiers principaux constitués par Grigny II, La Grande-Borne et le Village.
EN : The « Ferme Neuve » or New Farm in English (dating 1723-1753) was built on Guillaume Joly de Fleury initiative who was public prosecutor in Parliament and Grigny’s lord. The place is typically from the Beauce as region’s big farms and is just as important as the Bois Briard farm in Courcouronnes. In the past, the Ferme Neuve was lightly in background of the village and formed a real closed world similar to fortress in the middle of the fields. The buildings are arranged around a vast square yard with wells and watering place. In 1821, Guillaume François Joly de Fleury sold the property to the Duchesse de Raguse who was the wife of the France’s Marshal Auguste de Marmont. The bill of sale reveals the importance of the farm. A first building was the farmer’s house, a bakehouse, a dairy, a henhouse, a vaulted pig’s and cow’s shelter. Two floors with servant’s rooms and attics were on the top of the whole. Another building contained a vast vaulted stable, granary, oat and straw barns, a dovecote and a sheep pen with a tiled barn. The Comtesse de Rigny acquired the farm in 1856 and sold it in 1881 to the Marquise de Talhouêt-Roy. In 1899, The Bouton and Piketty’s company bought the farm to use the millstone. In the 1920’s, a shed to store the wheat was built. The buildings are still intact. After the exhausting of the stone’s deposit, the company sold the estate to Marcognet family in 1956. Bought by the State, the property is managed by the AFTRP (Paris Region Land Technical Agency). The farm in rehabilitation progress is used for public departments and will become the city of Grigny’s heart connecting the main districts of Grigny II, the Grande-Borne and the Village.
