The cache IS at the posted coordinates.
Postcard, circa 1900-1910
It has become an annual tradition for us to place at least one Halloween cache a few kilometres east of Calgary. This one is fairly simple, with just a couple twists.
First, there could be a bit of water in the bottom of the ditch, so beware.
Second, the cache is padlocked, so you’ll need to find the key to open it. That shouldn’t be too hard, though, since the key is located at the same coordinates as the cache itself.
Once you access the cache, there should be a couple slightly scary objects inside. So, beware again. Please do not trade for these objects. Hopefully, there will be some little trade items in the sandwich-sized Lock & Lock, which also contains the log book.
Here’s a list of our other nearby, Halloween-themed caches:
- Indus Vampires (GC35YZ9), on-site field puzzle, 51 favourite points (53%)
- Indus Ghoul (GC3YDKA), very easy MIST, 23 favourite points (19%)
Thanks to the property owner who kindly allowed us to place this cache on their fence line. And thanks to Ms. Canadian Rockies for the spooky paint job.
Congratulations to peaceguy for being the first to find this cache.
