According to Wikipedia and other sources, on November 5th:
1872 – Women's suffrage in the United States: In defiance of the law, suffragist Susan B. Anthony votes for the first time, and is later fined $100.
1912 – Woodrow Wilson is elected to the presidency of the United States.
1935 – Parker Brothers began marketing the board game "Monopoly."
1994 – George Foreman became boxing's oldest heavyweight champion at age 45 by knocking out Michael Moorer in the 10th round of their WBA fight in Las Vegas.
