Geocache Description:

Hi All,
The terrain has one major obstacle which is the incline from the parking area for Pullmans Park at the end of Hallett Gardens. Once you have negotiated the incline to Pullmans Park after that it is pretty flat. It can be muddy after it rains. If you take your dog and it is like mine put a drop sheet in the back of your car as Bonnie loves mud and the day we went she found heaps of it.

This is my first attempt at placing a cache, so I went with my first two loves, Railways and History.
This cache and Healthy Snack 04 are about 800 metres apart so an easily double grab.

The cache container is a round Sistema and has room for tradeable items and trackables.
Logbook and writing stick provided.

There is a 1st,2nd and 3rd to find rewards, and find cards for all.

Some tradeable native animals figures for the young and young at heart have been provided to start off the cache.

The location is the Upper Swan Railway Bridge, which has had two bridges that I know of, the first a wooden bridge, which from what I can find by research was built by the Midland railway, and the current bridge, which I assume was built by the WAGR.
Quite often locals will come and sit at the bridge for a fish, don't know what they catch, because as a fisherman I couldn't even catch a cold.
If it goes Ok and other cachers are interested I would like to do a series on Bridges around first the metro area then WA that contrast the old and new of bridges we use. So stay tuned!

I really want everyone's perspective on the spot, and if you are able or have history whether that be yours or someone who is family or a friend post their story or pics. Especially of the new bridge's construction. This is a part of our history and it would be great to catalogue it here so it isn't lost.
