Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates! To acquire the coordinates for this cache, you have to do a little research, some counting and some basic math. The container you are looking for is a small to medium sized container with room for trades and trackables.

After you have verified your coordinates, please park at the posted coordinates which is the parking lot for Westminster Church. After parking, cross the Orr Road and you will find yourself on the walking trail that surrounds the Gilfillan farm. With the approval of this puzzle cache, you can now walk this trail and find 4 different cache types! It is a very nice trail with most of it being a wood chip trail, but there is a grassy portion meandering through the meadow as well as hard packed portions that wind through the woods. To solve this puzzle fill in the blanks:
*******************************************************

Upper St. Clair purchased __ __ . __ __ acres surrounding the Gilfillan farm in the year __ __ __ __. In the year __ __ __ __, the farm itself was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places (building # __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __). The last remaining member of the Gilfillan family, Margaret Gilfillan, moved into the farm house here when she was only __ years old. She passed away at the age of __ __ __ in the year __ __ __ __.

*******************************************************

You now have 28 single digit numbers. Find the frequency of each digit and write that number on the line next to each digit. In other words, count all of the 0s and write down how many there are. I have counted the number of 6s for you and it is 1.
0 - ____ 1 - ____ 2 - ____ 3 - ____ 4 - ____

5 - ____ 6 - __1_ 7 - ____ 8 - ____ 9 -____

******************************************************

Now that you have their frequencies, use their frequencies to replace each digit in the coordinates below. Using 6 as my example, in the coordinates below, if there is a 6, you will replace the 6 with a 1 because it only appeared once.

North 7 8 degrees (0 - 5) 4 . ( 2 + 7) (1 + 5) (7 + 1)

West (7 + 5) 3 degrees 3 2 . (2 + 9) (9 + 7) (9 + 2 + 6)

***********************************************

Now that you have the coordinates, make your way to Gilfillan Farm and the community walking trail. Stay on the trail all the way to the cache. When you are close to the cache, you might see a sign and a nice little side trail that will walk you out to the cache and a wonderful view, so no bushwhacking is allowed!! Please remain on the trail and do not try to take any shortcuts. Bring your binoculars and your camera. Thanks and happy caching!
