Musician,singer,and songwriter,one of the greatest electric guitarists in history.
In 1967 he earned 3top ten hits in UK with The Jimi Hendrix Experience"hey Joe,Purple Hazeand the wind cries Mary". He headlined the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and the Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970 before his death at the age of 27.
His first instrument was a 1 string ukulele .In 1958 he bought his first acoustic guitar for $5.00 at the age of 15. The rest is history .
