About the cache:
Before you attempt this night cache there are a couple things you will need in order to find the geocache container.
You will need a decent torch, held at head height, as you will be looking for reflective markers (you’ll need to look high and low) - a head torch is perfect!
And it is highly advisable to wear wellies as it can get muddy / wet in places – when it’s been raining there may be an inch or two of water in places. Waterproof clothing is also recommended. The container will have some swaps, a log book and pen inside, but please bring your own just in case.
From the trailhead waypoint go through the gate and look for two white reflective markers placed one above the other, - this will show you where to start. The markers have been placed reasonably close together and generally follow natural paths.
Follow the white markers through the woods until you come to three markers together which will indicate that you are near GZ. You will then have to use your geosenses to find the cache.
Once you have found and logged the cache, please replace the container as found.
In order to help you find your way back to the trailhead waypoint we have placed some red markers for you to follow.
One final note: There is a river running through the area and also an abandoned mine shaft too, so please watch your step!
