Geocache Description:

Cache is at posted coordinates. Bring your own pen and ink pad for the letterbox.

Ansel Adams has inspired my photographic career over the last twenty years. When I first decided to pursue a formal education in the arts, it was his black and white work that finalized my decision to study photography seriously. Adams focused his camera work, literally, on Yosemite National Park in California. His stark, monochromatic images are iconic and beautiful. Adams was a true photographic genius and will remain as an endless inspiration to future artists of the medium.

This is a plain vanilla cache (no puzzle solving at all) that only requires a little bit of walking; although, distance will vary depending on your selected trail system. Grab your walking shoes, hiking stick, camera, and water and then go for a nice little (or long) hike to this cache. Cache is a short distance from the Wetland Bluff Trail.




About the King of Letterboxing Series
A letterbox hybrid cache is a cross between a traditional letterbox and a modern geocache. There will be 26 total caches in this series and each will include a custom stamp, specifically made for the cache. You will need to bring your own ink pad (black is suggested for King of Yosemite). Use our stamp to mark your own notebook or journal. Feel free to stamp the logbook with your own, personal stamp. Please do not remove these stamping items from the cache.
