Geocache Description:

The original cache was gone. So I replace it with a smaller and more difficult one!
This cache is near by the Teddy Stadium and the Jerusalem Arena, that still under construction.

Teddy Stadium

Teddy Stadium is a football stadium in Jerusalem, Israel. Three football teams currently use the stadium - Beitar Jerusalem, Hapoel Jerusalem, and Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem.

The stadium is named for long-time Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kollek, who was in office during the time of its construction and was one of its prominent advocates.

For Beitar, the stadium was a major upgrade after years of playing at the YMCA Stadium, nicknamed "The Sandbox". In the first stage, only the west and east sides of the stadium were built, giving it a capacity of 14,000. In 1999, work was finished on a north side that increased capacity to 21,600.

The stadium itself is one of the newest in Israel and one of the few that is close to meeting all European standards. It is accessible to the disabled, has modern bathrooms, and has ample concession stands, a combination that is very difficult to find in many Israeli stadiums. The stadium has 5,000 parking spots on its premises, and is connected to the Malha Mall and its parking facilities by a pedestrian bridge.

The stadium is located at the terminus of the Begin Expressway and just past the Malha Train Station, which ensures convenient road and rail access to the rest of the country.

With stands close to the pitch and excellent acoustics, Teddy Stadium has hosted several Israel national football team matches, the Maccabiah Games opening ceremony, and other public events.

A south side stand of 12,000 seats was completed on June 3rd 2013, increasing seating capacity to 34,000. The NIS100 million plan is the first phase of a project to accommodate 50,000.

Teddy Stadium was one of the venues for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship and hosted the tournament's final match.

Jerusalem Arena

The Arena, known for sponsorship reasons as Jerusalem HaPayis Hall (Heichal HaPasyis Yerushalayim), is a multi-purpose sports arena currently being built in Jerusalem by the city council and the betting company Mifal HaPayis. The stadium will be build in Jerusalem's southwest Malha neighborhood, adjacent to Teddy Stadium. According to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, the new arena will be the largest indoor space in Jerusalem able to host professional sports, world-class concerts, international conferences and cultural events.

In 2004, Jerusalem mayor, Ehud Olmert declared a new basketball arena would be built within a year. In December 2005, the cornerstone was laid. In July 2009, the city hall publicized tenders for building the arena's infrastructure.

The building project is supposed to be finished in 2013 and cost 240 million NIS, 187 million NIS of which to be covered by Mifal HaPayis, 20 million NIS from the Israeli Sports Betting Council and 33 million NIS from the Jerusalem municipality. It will include 10,600 seats on 40,000 square metres.

Though the arena will be the new home of Hapoel Jerusalem B.C. and a major sports centre, including facilities such as an Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis courts and possibly even an ice rink, it is planned on being a multi-purpose site and house an athletes' residence, and provide facilities for cultural and business events.

from WIKIPEDIA

The cache is outside of the stadium, so sometimes is very quite spot, but sometimes there are several thousands people, so be careful. You don't need to climb to any electric pole. There is a pen, but just to be on the safe side BYOP!
