(LT) Juodupės upelio pradžia yra pelkėtoje vietovėje Latvijos teritorijoje, į Vakarus nuo Aknystos (Aknīste). Čia upelis vadinasi Jodupe. Upelio vandenis netrukus papildo Prūdupė. Prabėgusi durpingomis Paduobio žemėmis, Juodupė šiauriniame to paties pavadinimo miestelio pakraštyje įteka į Vyžuoną. Santaka randasi maždaug 250 m nuo lobio slėpimo vietos.
