This cache is a micro child-proof bottle. This area of Roswell is nicknamed "The Pits" and many people ride four-wheelers and dirt bikes here. My son and I often go walking/hiking on the four-wheeler and dirt bike trails. We enjoy the desert terrain and hope you will too. The only negative thing about the area is the fact that many people dump their trash here. All of the trash somewhat spoils the ambiance, but, overall, it is a nice place to walk.
We feel there are two options for your getting to the cache. First, if you have a vehicle that you don't mind taking on a very rough dirt road, you can drive very near the cache. The second option, if you are not comfortable driving your vehicle on a rough desert road, is to park at the baseball field and then hike 15 - 20 minutes.
Expect typical desert things: cacti, goatheads, ants, etc. The weather can be extremely hot and dry, so please stay hydrated. Unfortunatley, there is also a bunch of trash in the area, including broken bottles. Please stay on the dirt road and/or four-wheeler trails until you get very close to the cache. Then, it is just a little bit off the beaten path.
