Geocache Description:

The back door will be open, so park in the back of the Elks Lodge at the lower parking lot and enter there.

We formally invite all the local cachers (and the ones from afar) to the northland hood, for a friendly holiday game and gathering.  This year we will stay in the northland, but we'll move to Gladstone.  Event will begin at 5:00PM. The first hour or so will be meet and greet and get reacquainted time as well as eat some munchies and drink your favorite beverages.  There will be adult beverages available, but they may only be purchased on premises.  Do not bring them with you!

Story Book Grinch Gift Exchange will begin around 6:30.  THIS WILL BE DIFFERENT THAN PAST!

Although not required, ideally your gift towards the exchange should be Geocaching related and non-alcoholic!  Because this years place does not allow you to bring in alcohol from the outside and besides do you really want a 10 year old, picking out your bottle of nice liquior!  NO!

How the game is played:
KEEP A WATCH ON THE PAGE AND IT WILL BE EXPLAINED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS!

You may participate in the gift exchange either on your own or with your geocaching partner or family.

Everyone who wants to play the game must bring a gift. (Suggested price range for gifts is 15 to 20 dollars) All gifts should be wrapped (and may I suggest you make yours look extra special). DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE GIFT!

NEW ORIGAMI RULE THIS YEAR:  Sorry but no double boxing, no double wrapping and so on!  Sorry Origami Folder smiley

The rules of this years game will be passed along very soon, in the next few days put this on your watchlist and keep an eye on updates!  There will be a few changes, but the whole idea is still to spend time with lots of friends, meet new friends and have lots of great memories.

This will be a potluck of finger foods, chili and soup. If you would like to bring food or beverages to share, just let us know in your log. This facility will hold plenty and be equipped with plenty of tables and chairs so you will not need to bring either.

A gift is only required to play the game, not to attend the event. The food and beverage is only required if you want to eat or drink.  NO ALCOHOL, CAN BE BROUGHT FROM THE OUTSIDE!

On the twelfth day of CHRISTMAS, my caching buddy gave to me....
Twelve satellite signals,
Eleven ammo boxes,
Ten thorny bushes,
Nine water bottles,
Eight urban nanos,
Seven streams a-crossing,
Six film micros a-sticking,
Five geo-coins!
Four travel bugs,
Three flash lights,
Two CITO bags,
and a 5/5 I still can't find!
