jdl 1999 Cornerstone Traditional Cache

Where were you in 1999?  this was a very tumultuous year for many. especially those in the IT world.  remember when all of the computer systems were going to reset and all of the financial systems were going to crash and the whole facade would crumble?  

and then we were faced with the end of the world at the time.  remember the fabulous fireworks shows around the world on tv every hour another time zone crossed over?  then there was the unveiling of the millennium wheel and all the people who were so fortunate to be able to say they were first to take a spin.  but really they got it wrong because the new millenium didnt really start until the next year, but hey, who's counting?

for some people this year was a cross road and for some a turning point.  for others this year may have been the cornerstone for all the years to come.  What was it for you?
