Geocache Description:

Here is my second Cache hidden in this beautiful area. this one is a very easy one for campers as well. close to the park entrance its a great stop for families camping or for families who enjoy the lake area.

I won a lock and lock box at a Calgary geocaching in space event and figured this would be great for the cabin area. It's great to come here and cache so I wanted to contribute. Great area for campers to also light fireworks. also be aware that on the start of your weekend cops like to have a radar trap on this road close to this cache. they are great people and please be respectful. speed limit is 50 kph. also from here as you walk on this side of the road and walk around you can see some spot where deer lay down. please don't disturb these places but if you want to see what a deer nesting ground looks like feel free to wander and look. yes there is deep snow here but its winter and the snow makes its fun just a side note the deer lay down around here in 2013, but if you walk along the tree line you can see some other nests that are hidden in the bush. you can see this if you keep your eyes open and look closely
