Geocache Description:

I have placed this cache on the banks of the famous river tweed, famous for its trout and salmon fishing. This cache is ideally located to take in some of the best defining qualitys of the Scottish Borders. The Scottish Borders is not only famous for its fishing but also its landscape the rolling hills of the Borders, fought over by English and Scots for Hundreds of years and back to Roman Times. At this site you can also take in the excellent views of the Eildon Hills where once a Bronze Age settlement was situated. The Borders is steeped in history for you to discover should you desire. The cache is placed in the Village of St Boswells where you will find all kinds of amenities while there.
