Gandalf's Staff Traditional Cache

Located off the Wilderness Trail in Meramec State Park, MO.  a 4 x 4" lock n lock container.  This is second in our series of Lord of the Ring caches in this area.

"At the moment Gandalf lifted his staff, and crying aloud he smote the bridge before him.  The staff broke asunder and fell from his hand.  A blinding sheet of white flame sprang up.  The bridge cracked.  Right at the Balrog's feet it broke..."  The Fellowship of the Ring, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. 

We are planning to place several caches on the Wilderness Trail, making the journey to our cache "Walls of Moria"  (GC40GG4)  worthwhile and enjoyable. 

Parking is recommended off the 185 Spur.  There is room for only one car.  We recommend you download a map of the trail.  The caches can be located easily by following the loop trail rather than bushwacking. 

This cache is only a short bushwack off the loop trail and closest to the road when all caches are placed.
