Geocache Description:

This cache is placed just over a mile from Linford Bottom car park. It is a level walk, but can be muddy after rain. There is a drier but slightly longer route using the nearby cycle track.

This is the sixth of the Greenford Bottom caches.  It is a new cache so can be logged as a find even if you found the others.

This cache is situated in the New Forest just north of Ringwood. It is a beautiful area with many woods, brooks and open areas to run and play in. It can be very busy in the summer so please take care. If it has been raining wet weather footwear is recommended.

The aim of the cache is to have an enjoyable walk, and if you feel a little more adventurous don’t just walk back to the car, but do a circular route taking in other caches on the way. Many families in the summer bring picnics and spend the day at Linford Bottom.

Park your car at Linford Bottom N50°51.856 W001°44.654 - Grid reference SU 181 072

Please try not to disturb the hiding place - you only need to put your hand in - the cache is on the ground.

This cache is hidden under the agreementbetween the GAGB and Forestry Commission in the New Forest. No Night caching is allowed.

Enjoy your visit.
