This cemetery is the place of native/pioneer graves. To mark these graves, small boulders were used as headstones. There are no longer headstones marking the graves, but the lines and indentations are still visible. The National Geological Survey maps clearly show the location of this cemetery.
There is a cave tour that showcases the various passageways and formations in the Zane Shawnee Caverns. The earthcache focuses on the rare cave pearl formations and Shawnee legends.
There is a benchmark located atop the stone pillar near the entrance sign to the caverns.
