Geocache Description:

This cache is part of our ‘Anniversary Amble’. When walked in full it forms a 4.5 mile walk.

This ‘Amble’ series has been set down to mark our 100th cache and 5th wedding anniversary. If you are doing this as a walk the full series is roughly 4.5 miles across mixed terrain that can be rough and overgrown at certain times of the year. Some of the caches can be done as a drive-by. 5 of the caches are anniversary related, some others are named after songs/places to do with our wedding and the others will be changed as our marriage matures. Ten original caches we set out in April 2013 and more were added in November of that year. There are a few geo-walks from the village (the dawdles and amble) which are recommended but this one will take you eastward (crossing the A141 twice so be careful with geokids). The village of Doddington has some interesting points of interest including the Queen Victoria Jubilee clock tower and the golden post box which are worth a visit and photo opportunity.

This is an addition to the 10 original caches laid down earlier this year (2013). It fills a gap between ex-Yorke Farm and Nixhill Road - cornered. The road here is quiet but sometimes you are passed by adrenaline fuelled skydivers so please beware. The cache was placed whilst the bramble hedges were not as fierce but still there so take care.

You are looking for a 35mm film cannister with only a log sheet.
