Welcome to the Ashland Historic Geo-Trail (WTA). The trail is designed not only for Geocachers but muggles alike to enjoy the area around Ashland, Kentucky.
Healthy Choices Kentucky is excited to offer this new Geo-Trail to bring people to discover the rich history of Ashland, Kentucky. The caches are all family friendly, not difficult to find and are designed to be easily accessible. The trail will consist of 11 caches, ten (10) traditional caches and one five stage multicache. There is also an easy and fun puzzle cache on the newly established Charles & Betty Russell Hiking Trail GC5R1FP
In addition to being the location of Ashland Junior College, the predecessor to Ashland Community and Technical college, the building for years served as the central office of the Ashland Independent Schools. The district moved from there into a former school building, Hatcher Elementary, in 2011.
