RUR Traditional Cache

Just a little ways off the bike path.   You will have to get off the path, following an existing trail.

There are several literary cache trails in Amherst already.  We decided to start a literary trail dedicated to Czech authors. 

R.U.R. - Rossum's Universal Robots. A play by Karel Capek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karel_Čapek), a Czech author who was active in the early part of the 20th century.  Contrary to Wikipedia, he was not known primarily for science fiction.   A prolific and imaginative writer, his contributions include short stories, plays and novels. RUR is best known outside of the Czech Republic because it introduced the word 'robot' - derived from the Czech word 'robota' - meaning hard, menial labour.   Check out RUR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.U.R) and enjoy this writer's incredible imagination and humour.
