Geocache Description:

Burrum Heads is a sleepy little fishing village north of Hervey Bay.

It was known as Traviston until 1950 when it was renamed Burrum Heads after the Burrum River.

This is one of 4 caches hidden during regular visits to the area.

The local council was planning to build a large boat ramp  on this council land.

Most of the local residents opposed the development.
