"...well I am an Ent, or that's what they call me. Yes, Ent is the word. The Ent, I am, you might say, in your manner of speaking. Fanghorn is my name according to some, Treebeard others make it. Treebeard will do." The Two Towers, LOTR Trilogy by Tolkien.
Third in our series of LOTR caches in Meramec State Park along the Wilderness trail.
A 4 x 4" loc-n-lock box placed in the forest. Following the Wilderness Trail in a counterclockwise direction from the fork will get you to this place easily. Very short bit of easy bushwacking is necessary. Please be sure to do the other caches in the park and enjoy this beautiful area.
The entire Wilderness trail is a 10 mile loop. Starting from the parking area waypointed here it is approximately a 6 mile loop if you do it all.
Permission from Brian Wilcox at Meramec SP to place the caches.
I left a TB for the FTF
Congratulations to Captain Sea Bert for FTF and completing all 4 LOTR caches in one hike.
