Cub Country Trails - Doggie Paddle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team_Schnauzer: Don't want to archive this one, but got an email from the city that people had been bending the lamp skirt trying to get underneath to find the cache. That skirt is bolted down and they didn't like people trying to get inside of it, even though the cache is elsewhere on that particular beacon. This one also tends to go missing so I am going to archive it and hopefully put a different kind of cache near the same location that should stay muggle-free.

Geocache Description:

BYOP. Winter-friendly and probably handicap accessible. Quick P&G located at Nevada's SCORE Recreation facility. You can park within a few feet of the cache and should be a quick find for most. Beware of muggles at this location most times during the day. Make sure the cache gets put back into it's correct place after you've signed the log.

Over the few years we've been caching we've been slowly placing new hides at Nevada's SCORE Complex. We finally figured out how to hide one at this location. When you pull up to GZ, you'll see that this beacon is nothing original or new. However, because of the characterstics of the beacon, this cache had to be hidden in a slightly different fashion. Nothing too tricky here. If it's during the summer and you're hot, you can always join Fritz the Flying Schnauzer at the nearby pool and he can teach you how to doggie paddle. He's good at it.
