This part of the series will take you to a newly created monument in Squirrel Hill in memory of the victims of the holocaust. The nearby school had their students collect aluminum can "tabs", one for each holocaust victim, in order to give the students a conceptual idea of such a big number. Once collected, they placed the tabs within glass blocks and created the remembrance you will see at the waypoint below. Once at the memorial, you will need to complete a simple field puzzle to get coordinates to the cache which is just a short walk away. The cache is not on private property and the local homeowner is aware of its placement. Please do not go for this one at night. Please exercise stealth when searching for the cache and BYOP.
The cache can be found at N40 25.A and W079 55.B where:
A =
(Number of glass blocks in largest "wall segment" +1)
x (number of large rocks in nearby "outdoor classroom")
B =
(Last two digits of year Frank Smizik became principal +1)
minus (the number of glass blocks in the smallest "wall segment")
minus (the number of words in the "Be strong" quote)
BE SURE TO COLLECT THE INFO NEEDED TO FIND THE SHiP-SHAPE FINAL!
