Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coordinates.

Welcome to the Whizbangs and Zipties cache trail!

This series contains 52+1 caches along an 8 mile stretch of the Pecatonica Prairie Pathway. You'll also encounter several other caches located along the way that have been around for a while. Stealth may be required at a few of the hides.

You can download the pocket query for the entire trail here.

Most of the containers are whizbangs attached to the host by a ziptie, but there are a few exceptions where a different container was more suitable for the location.

Parking locations are somewhat spotty throughout the trail. There are large parking lots within approx 1/2 mile of both ends of the trail series. Click here for a list of parking coords.

This trail is made out of crushed rock and is easy to travel on by bicycle. Dogs are allowed on the trial, but they must be on a leash. Please clean up after them! No motorized vehicles allowed! There isn't any fee to use the trail.

So, grab your GPS, air up the tires on your bike, and come out to hit the Whizbangs and Zipties cache trail!

Now for the puzzle!

1) Count the Power Towers that contain no geocaches.
2) Count the number of whizbangs that halemeister used on this trail.
3) Find the number of years Winnebago county has had a fair.
4) Count the number of other cachers you spot on this trail. Subtract all non-cachers.
5) If ____~ is with you, add the number of times she tells you that there used to be a cache over there. (I removed her name so as not to embarrass her. You will have no idea who I mean).
6) There was a good question here, but odds are you'd mess it up so I'll just tell you the number is 6.
7) Divide your total so far by the number of times RebelGTP has shown you his geocoin collection.
8) Add the number of CITOs you have attended. If the number is zero, shame on you!
9) If all the zipties on this trail were placed end to end, how long would that be?
10) If it is winter, count the number of degrees the temperature has dropped while searching here. If not, count the number of skeeters swatted.
11) (Finally!) Take the final total and you should have a number that will mean nothing. Read the hint if you need help.

Thanks to MrBasilisk and his cache GC39B5H for the puzzle idea!
