Geocache Description:

The Captain Fawcett Commemorative 4WD Track begins at Dawn Creek Road and travels some 90km through beautiful Jarrah forests, with some magnificent views along the way. There is also historic farmhouses & even some old trestle bridges made by the original settlers around the 1860's. The track emerges onto the Harvey-Quindanning Road where you can follow past the renowned Long Gully Bridge and ending up in the township of Quindannning.

The track has the full support of the Fawcett family, who have donated the track signposts erected by Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC). The Fawcett family still own the 4000 acre Mokine property on the road between Marradong and Quindanning, as well as 600 acres at Pinjarra which is owned by a great grandson, Adrian Fawcett.

This cache is placed where the track merges onto Driver Road (which is accessible by all cars) for approximately 1.2 kilometres before heading bush again.
