This could be the lowest low tide. Some predict higher sea levels in the future, but 31 January 2014 is predicted to be -2.04 feet!
The extreme low tide will be on a Friday evening. Bring your grills, blankets and tanning lotion and enjoy a fun day at the beach. Now that the tourists have left, it should be a bit less crowded. Also, don't forget those clam shovels and rakes.
The event will start at 2:00pm and continue as long as everyone is having fun. The actual low low tide is at 5:11 PM. Come early, if you miss it, the tide will not wait!!
If you're unable to attend, the tide will be almost as low on 2 & 3 January and 1 February.
