Geocache Description:

This is the third of a little series I have decided to place in commemoration (or sometimes celebration) of pubs that have disappeared.

This pub was established by 1838, presumably to start with under a different name as Prince Albert did not marry Queen Victoria until 1840. It was rebuilt in the in the 1920s, however standing on a large site (formerly tea gardens) it was a worthwhile target for developers and it closed in 1999 and was demolished in 2000.

The site is now occupied by a block of housing 'Prince Albert Court'

I never drank in this pub, so I can't tell you if this is a commemoration or celebration of it's disappearance.

Quite a detailed hint is given to avoid having to hang around too much and look too suspicious at the very busy location. You are looking for a black nano.

Happy hunting
