This is another cache in our "Musicians and Music Series." A series of caches named after our favorite musical artists or their songs. This cache is to replace Too Much Time On My Hands (GC2QDFT) which was hidden close by but required a bit of a bush whack to get to. For those who found Too Much Time you may remember the container which I spent an entire winter chiseling out. Now that Boot Group and I are married and living in Plymouth it is not easy to get to Middleborro to take care of cache maintenance issues that may pop up. I have hauled Too Much Time out of the woods, it now sits in my cellar awaiting a new home in the Plymouth area.
As for this new cache, I still wanted to leave a cache in this little piece of woods so I opted for a not so unique lock n lock hidden right along the trail in a perfect spot that I happened across. As far as where did I come up with the name? It's after one of my favorite musicians, Jackson Brown's Song "STAY" because I wanted a cache to stay in this location for a "little bit longer" I hope you enjoy the little walk.
I have been adding this note to all of my new cache hides and I know through discussing this subject with other cachers that I am not the only one bothered by it. The issue is people that go out and find caches that others have put time ,money and effort into creating, hiding and maintaining. Only to write a log (Thank you note) that says things like "Found while in area" or "Found with friend" or " :-) " or "Found it." It gets worse I've gotten logs on caches that are not even near each other and from two different people who are caching together that are cut and pasted that say "Found with my dog."
If you are going to bother to find my hides please at least have the courtesy jot down a sentence or two about the weather, the find or something.
For those cachers who always write decent logs. Thanks for taking the time to log this one and Happy Caching.
