Geocache Description:

When this area was in it's infant stage this pit supplied sand and gravel to a growing town on the banks of the Cedar River. During one of the digs a startling discovery was made bringing a halt to further operations and the area was designated as a city park. By looking at this historical find and being able to read sign language because we are geocachers, we would have to surmise "this is indeed an ancient burial ground."
