To honor the name of the establishment on the premises and our favorite team, we wanted to share a few fun facts about the franchise from our youth.
1. James Lofton was the first Packer without direct ties to Curly Lambeau or Vince Lombardi to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
2. The popular "Majik Man" (Don Majkowski) went down with a torn ligament in his ankle against the Bengals and was replaced by Brett Favre, who was a started for A FEW games after that.
3. Who remembers the playoff game on New Year's Eve, 1994 when Green Bay held Barry Sanders to -1 rushing yards, resulting in a 16-12 victory? Good thing we drafted "The Incredible Bulk" (Tony Mandarich) in front of such mediocre talent.
4. The Lambeau Leap was debuted in the 1993 season, courtesy of LeRoy Butler.
5. Packers last game at Milwaukee County Stadium was in 1994.
6. Reggie White was the first free agent that Green Bay ever signed.
