Come on down to Mogami Park and enjoy one of the most scenic places in Shinjo! This sprawling park used to be the site of Shinjo Castle, home of the Shinjo feudal clan. Now, the Tozawa shrine stands on the castle grounds, as well as a hydrangea garden and nearly 350 cherry trees. If you feel like it, bring a fishing pole and fish from the banks of the surrounding river moat!
