2 Nøtterøy er en av Norges eldste speidergrupper. I svært mange år ble gruppen ledet av Øistein Sårheim og han la mye av grunnlaget for hvordan 2 Nøtterøy fremstår idag. Gruppen har idag ca 50 speidere, ca 200 meldemmer i "Gamlekarklubben" og disponerer flere eiendommer. Gruppen har møter på Speiderbo som ligger i Teieskogen, like ved Andedammen. I tillegg har gruppen hytte på Hardangervidda, Bakkenut, med sengeplass til over 50 personer! De har også en stor hytte i Ramnes, en "boks" ved Trollsvann og disponerer "Gamma", en jordgamme ved Kringlevann.

The scout group 2.Nøtterøy is one of Norways oldest. With history dating back to the war years in Norway. Today the group consists of about 50 active scouts and about 200 old scouts that still get together from time to time. The group has a variety of different cabins around the Vestfold/Telemark municipalities. Most known and used is the "Bakkenut" cabin at Rjukan where the annual easter trip is held.
